What it is and where it fits.
Hyosung built the MX5200SE for busy, high-volume retail locations, combining the ease of use and maintenance of a retail ATM with the security of a financial-institution cash dispenser. It is the model Hyosung suggests for bank-branded ATMs at high-end retail sites and for locations that need more protection.
Capacity runs from a single 2,000-note cassette up to three, for a maximum of 6,000 notes. You choose between a UL 291 business-hours safe with enhanced break-in protection or a heavy-duty Level 1 safe, and the physical build adds a reinforced cash tray and heavier metal plating. Options include a camera-ready fascia and an anti-skim EMV reader.
Hyosung’s parts catalog also listed a separate MX5200 model alongside the MX5200SE. A January 2026 dealer bulletin reported that the MX5200SE had been discontinued, with remaining inventory in the Level 1 safe configuration, so ask us for current pricing.

Before you choose it
- Maximum capacity is three cassettes. The Hero (MX5400) goes to four if you need more.
- The Level 1 safe adds protection and weight. Confirm which safe a quoted unit has.
- New-unit availability may be limited after the reported discontinuation, so compare it with current models as well.

Both can hold three cassettes. The MX5200SE is aimed at higher-security, bank-branded sites, with a choice of an enhanced business-hours safe or a Level 1 safe and a reinforced cash tray. The Force is Hyosung’s mainstream retail model with a Level 1 option.
Is the MX5200SE discontinued?
Hyosung still shows it on its retail page, but a dealer bulletin in January 2026 reported it as discontinued, with remaining inventory in a Level 1 safe configuration, and said Hyosung continues to support discontinued models under its servicing commitment. Ask us about current availability.
