Our pay stations take cards already. Does an ATM still help?
For many sites, yes. Some drivers prefer cash, some rates are collected in cash at the booth, and valet customers often tip in cash. The ATM gives those customers an option on site.
Is an ATM safe in a parking garage?
With sensible placement, yes. We favor lobbies, elevator cores and attended areas that are well lit and covered by cameras. The machine is anchored and monitored remotely, and the cash inside is BayTM’s responsibility, not yours.
