Is an ATM safe in a laundromat that isn’t always staffed?
Yes, with sensible placement. The machine is anchored, monitored remotely and covered by your cameras, and the cash inside is BayTM’s responsibility, not yours. We’ll recommend the safest spot during the location review.
We use laundry cards, not coins. Does an ATM still help?
Very much. Customers load laundry cards with cash at the kiosk, and an ATM next to it means they can load what they actually need instead of what’s in their pocket.
Does the ATM replace our change machine?
No. An ATM dispenses bills, not coins. It complements your bill-to-coin changer or card-loading kiosk, which still needs to be stocked and maintained as it is today. What the ATM adds is a way for customers to get bills in the first place.
