Fraternal lodges and veterans posts — Elks, Moose and Eagles lodges, VFW and American Legion posts, and many independent halls — tend to run on cash more than most businesses. The bar or canteen serves members and their guests; dinner nights, fish fries, pancake breakfasts and crab feeds often sell plates at the door; raffles, drawings and fundraisers collect bills in a coffee can; and members who have paid in cash for decades would rather keep doing so. When someone arrives with only a card, they sit out the raffle or head home to find an ATM.

The bar and canteen
Members and guests who like to pay for a round, or tip the volunteer bartender, in cash can get it on site. How your canteen handles sales and tips stays exactly as it does today.

Plates sold at the door, a pancake breakfast, a crab feed or a spaghetti dinner. When the ticket table takes cash, an ATM in the hall keeps the line moving for guests who didn’t bring any.

- Clear of the kitchen, the dance floor and the path chairs and tables take when the hall is reset for a rental.
- Well-lit and covered by your cameras. If the hall is locked between events, we plan placement and access around your hours during the location review.

- All loading, maintenance and repairs handled by our team, with 24/7 technician support — your volunteers never touch the cash inside.

We’re a nonprofit run by volunteers. Is there anything to manage?
Very little. BayTM installs the machine, loads its own cash, monitors it remotely and handles every repair. Your officers just tell us your hours and busy dates, and point members to it.
Does our board or membership need to approve it?
That depends on your bylaws, and we’re happy to wait while you follow them. We can walk your officers through how the placement works and leave the details in writing for your next meeting.
Are you affiliated with any lodge or veterans organization?
No. BayTM is an independent ATM company. We work directly with individual lodges, posts and halls, and a placement doesn’t involve or imply any endorsement from a national or state organization.
Our hall is only busy a few nights a month. Is that a problem?
No. There’s no minimum volume, so a quiet stretch costs you nothing. We monitor cash levels remotely and load ahead of your dinner nights, fundraisers and big events.
Will an ATM change how we run raffles or the canteen?
No. It gives members and guests a way to get cash without leaving the hall. How your canteen, raffles and fundraisers are run — and the permits they need — stays exactly as it is today.
