The case for cash
Why an ATM makes sense for a stadium, arena or concert venue.
On event day, a stadium, arena or amphitheater is one of the busiest places in town, and most of the spending happens in bursts: as the gates open, at halftime, between sets. Guests who prefer cash, or who run short of it, need an ATM they can reach without leaving. At venues that don’t allow re-entry, a guest who walks out to find cash may not come back in.
Where concessions, bars, merch booths or parking accept cash, ATMs inside the venue keep those lines moving for guests who pay that way. The machines have to be ready for the crowd: loaded before doors open, watched through the event and supported if something goes wrong at the worst possible moment.

- Every machine is monitored remotely during events, so low cash or a fault is flagged early, and our support line is available 24/7.
- Large crowds strain cellular networks, so we plan each machine’s connection during the site survey. Like any electronic device, it still depends on that connection working.

Can you place more than one ATM at a stadium or arena?
Yes. For larger venues we can place multiple ATMs and coordinate loading and service across them. Tell us about your concourses, gates and event calendar and we’ll recommend how many machines and where. For a one-off event on your grounds, ask about temporary event ATMs.
Will the machines keep up on a big event day?
We size each machine’s cash load to your events, schedule loading ahead of your biggest dates and monitor levels remotely while the event runs. Spreading machines across the venue also keeps any one line from getting too long at the break.
Some of our stands are card-only. Does an ATM still make sense?
It makes sense wherever something on site still takes cash: concession stands, bars, merch tables, parking or vendors on the plaza. During the location review we look at which points of sale accept cash and place machines near them. If nothing on site takes cash, an ATM won’t add much, and we’ll tell you so.
Our concessions are run by an outside operator. Does that matter?
It can affect who needs to approve the placement, but not how the ATM works. The machines are ours to load and service. We’ll talk through who needs to sign off — venue management, your concessions operator or the property owner — during the location review.
Is it safe to have ATMs in a crowded venue?
The machines are heavy, anchored and monitored around the clock, and the cash inside is BayTM’s responsibility, not yours. We place them in well-lit spots within camera coverage and sight of security staff, and clear of gate lines and exits.
