Can an ATM go outside at a car wash?
Placements inside the office, lobby or waiting room are most common and most secure. If your site doesn’t have an indoor spot, we assess weather exposure, lighting, power and connectivity during the location review and recommend what makes sense for your layout.
Our bays and vacuums take tokens or coins. Does an ATM still help?
Yes, alongside your changer. An ATM dispenses bills, not coins or tokens. Customers take the bills to your bill changer or token machine, which you keep stocked and maintained as you do today. What the ATM adds is a way to get bills in the first place.
Our crew gets tipped in cash. Will an ATM help?
It gives customers who want to tip in cash a way to get it without leaving. Some will tip in cash; many will keep using cards. How tips are collected, shared and reported stays exactly as your business does it today.
Business drops when it rains. Is that a problem?
No. There’s no minimum volume, so a slow week costs you nothing. We monitor cash levels remotely and load ahead of your busy stretches, so the machine is ready when the sun comes back out.
Is an ATM safe at a wash that isn’t always staffed?
With sensible placement, yes. The machine is anchored, monitored remotely and covered by your cameras, and the cash inside is BayTM’s responsibility, not yours. We’ll recommend the safest spot during the location review.
