What it is and where it fits.
The Force (model MX2800SE) is the ATM Hyosung describes as “designed by retail, for retail,” and one of its most popular retail machines. It arrived as the successor to the long-running 2700 series when Hyosung retired that model in 2019, keeping the 2700’s features and adding updates for today’s users.
What sets it apart from the smaller Halo II is capacity and flexibility. The dispenser starts with a 1,000- or 2,000-note cassette and can be upgraded to three cassettes, and the safe comes as a UL 291 business-hours safe with a Level 1 option. The 12.1-inch screen is larger, and the lit topper has high, medium and low brightness settings, so it can sit in a bright store or a dim bar.
Hyosung also built in some practical touches for the people who load and service it: a light inside the vault, lit arrows at the card and receipt slots, and four power-cord holes so the cabinet can go almost anywhere. An optional camera can photograph each user and store the image with the transaction record.

Where it fits best.
- Gas stations
Steady all-day traffic suits a machine that can hold up to three cassettes and go longer between loads.
- Grocery stores
Weekend and payday peaks are easier to cover with the extra cassette capacity and a larger, easy-to-read screen.
- Truck stops & travel centers
High-traffic, long-hours locations benefit from the Level 1 safe option and the optional user camera.
- Bars & nightclubs
The dimmable topper lets the machine stay visible without glaring in a low-light room.
Before you choose it
- At 286.6 lbs it is heavier than the Halo II in the same footprint. Plan for proper anchoring either way.
- Three cassettes mean more cash in the machine. If you own it, someone has to load it; BayTM offers cash loading for owned machines.
- The Level 1 safe is an option, not standard. Confirm the safe rating on any unit you are quoted.
- It is an indoor cabinet. For an exterior wall, the through-the-wall version is the Force T (MX2800T).

How much does a Hyosung Force cost?

Can I get a Force placed free?

Is the Force the replacement for the Hyosung 2700?
Yes. When Hyosung retired the 2700 in 2019, it named the Force as the successor, with the 2700’s features plus updates. If you have an older 2700CE, the Force is the natural like-for-like upgrade.
Force or Halo II: which should I choose?
Both share the same published footprint. Choose the Halo II for a smaller site where one cassette is enough; choose the Force when you want a bigger screen, room for up to three cassettes or a Level 1 safe.
Does the Force have a camera?
A camera is optional. Hyosung says it photographs the user during the transaction, stores the image with the transaction record and can show the camera view on screen. There is also a mount for a third-party camera.
