What it is and where it fits.
The Force T (model MX2800T) is the through-the-wall member of Hyosung’s retail family. The customer side faces outdoors through an opening in your exterior wall, while the machine itself sits inside the building. Hyosung calls it “a sleek walk-up with rock solid reliability,” and the front is weatherized.
It has a 12.1-inch screen (1024 × 768) with tactile function keys, and holds up to three removable 2,000-note cassettes, dispensing up to 40 notes per transaction. Hyosung publishes depths for both a 3-inch and a 10-inch wall, so the thickness of your wall changes how far the unit sits back.
When Hyosung retired the 2700 series in 2019, it said a Force through-the-wall model, the 2800T, would follow. The MX2800T is that machine, and the natural upgrade from the older 2700T.

Before you choose it
- It needs an opening cut in an exterior wall, so you will need the building owner’s approval and some construction work.
- Without the optional heater, Hyosung lists an operating range of 41°F to 95°F, which matters in colder climates.
- Loading and service typically happen from inside the building, so you need a secure space behind the wall.
- Installation is more involved than setting a freestanding cabinet on the floor, so expect a site review first.

What does “through-the-wall” mean?
The ATM is installed in an opening in an exterior wall. Customers use the screen, card reader and cash slot from outside, while the cabinet sits indoors. It suits sites where customers need access from the sidewalk or parking lot.
Can I get a through-the-wall ATM placed free?

The Force T is the retail model, with a 12.1-inch screen and up to three 2,000-note cassettes. The Hero T is heavier-duty, with a Level 1 safe as standard, up to four cassettes and Windows 10. The right one depends on your volume and your wall.
