What it is and where it fits.
The Halo (NH2600) was Nautilus Hyosung’s compact retail ATM in the mid-2010s. Hyosung introduced it as the successor to the NH-1800 and built it with the same dispenser and parts as the NH-1800, so owners could keep using spares they already had. Its signature feature is a multi-color LED light around the recessed PIN pad, which cycles colors to catch customers’ eyes and can be dimmed or turned off.
There were two versions. The standard Halo came with a dial lock, while the Halo-S (NH2600S) added a high-gloss white finish, a metal key-cap PIN pad and an electronic lock as standard. Both used a 10.1-inch screen, Windows CE 6.0 and a dispenser that could be upgraded to two cassettes for 4,000 notes.
The Halo was later replaced by the Halo II, but it remains common in retail locations.

Before you choose it
- The EMV reader was optional. Check that a unit has one before buying it or planning to keep it running.
- It runs Windows CE 6.0 on older hardware. Keypad and software requirements from the networks change over time, so confirm a unit can still meet them.
- At 176 lbs it is light for a freestanding ATM, so proper anchoring matters.
- Hyosung no longer makes it; parts come from existing stock.

About the Hyosung Halo.
Can a Hyosung Halo still be used?
Often, yes, if the unit has an EMV card reader and a keypad and software that meet current network requirements. The Halo is still common in stores. Tell us the model and configuration and we’ll give you an honest answer.
Can you repair my Halo?

What’s the difference between the Halo and the Halo-S?
