What it is and where it fits.
Before the 1800SE, there were the NH-1800 and the NH-1800CE. Nautilus Hyosung described the original NH-1800 as engineered for reliability at an affordable price, with a small footprint, a 7-inch wide display, voice guidance and a dispenser that could hold up to 4,000 notes.
The NH-1800CE moved the line to Windows CE. Hyosung’s manual lists an 8-inch, 800 × 600 color screen, TCP/IP networking with an optional dial-up modem, a dip card reader that was EMV Level 1 ready, a UL 291 business-hours safe and a dispenser that took one cassette as standard with up to three as an option.
Both are now well past end of production. ATM dealers list the NH-1800 and NH-1800CE among models that often lack modern compliance features or need upgrades that cost more than the machine is worth.

Before you choose it
- Dealers list the NH-1800 and NH-1800CE among obsolete or end-of-support models.
- The EMV reader was “ready” rather than standard, so many units need upgrades that may not be worth the cost.
- Hyosung no longer makes it, so parts come from existing stock.

Can I still run a Hyosung 1800CE?

What’s the difference between the 1800, 1800CE and 1800SE?
They are generations of the same compact line. The original NH-1800 had a 7-inch display; the 1800CE moved to Windows CE with an 8-inch screen; the 1800SE added a faster processor, a sturdier safe lock and an upgrade path to 4,000 notes.
Should I repair or replace my 1800CE?
