What it is and where it fits.
The 8D (model 8300D in Hyosung’s 2026 brochure) is the drive-up version of the Series 8 platform. It is installed through the wall of a branch to serve a drive-up lane and is serviced from the rear.
Like the 8T, it comes as a cash dispenser, a dispenser with a cash and check deposit module, or a cash recycler with four 2,950-note recycling cassettes and a 2,000-note deposit cassette. Hyosung lists Windows 11 and a 19-inch sunlight-viewable touchscreen, and says the 8D has an upgrade path to video banking and palm vein identification.
Hyosung’s product page and its 2026 brochure publish different cabinet dimensions and wall-kit sizes for the 8D, so we leave them out here. It is designed for bank and credit union branches, not for retail stores.

Before you choose it
- Hyosung publishes different dimensions and wall-kit sizes for the 8D in different documents, so get confirmed measurements before any wall is cut.
- A drive-up lane needs its own planning for traffic flow, lighting and security, beyond the machine itself.

8D or 7D?
Both are drive-up ATMs that go through a branch wall. The 7D comes from Hyosung’s most affordable bank-grade series; the 8D adds the option of cash recycling and runs Windows 11.
Can a dispense-only 8D be upgraded to recycling?
Hyosung says its Series 8 through-the-wall, drive-up and island models ship either as a cash dispenser with a check-and-cash depository or as a four-plus-one cash recycler, and that the non-recycling versions can be upgraded to recycling.
