The 8I (model MX8300I) is the island drive-up member of Hyosung’s Series 8. It stands on its own in a drive-up lane and is serviced from the front, with a 10.1-inch supervisor panel for staff.
It offers the same three Series 8 configurations: cash dispensing only, dispensing with cash and check deposits, or cash recycling with four 2,950-note recycling cassettes and a 2,000-note deposit cassette. Customers use a 19-inch sunlight-viewable touchscreen, and the platform runs Windows 11. An air conditioner is a factory option, which widens the cabinet.
The 8I is designed for bank and credit union branches with a drive-up lane. For a business that wants an ATM, a retail model or free placement is the practical choice.

8I or 7I?
Both are island drive-up ATMs. The 7I comes from the more affordable Series 7; the 8I adds cash recycling as an option and runs Windows 11.
Can the 8I be upgraded to recycling later?
Hyosung says its Series 8 island, drive-up and through-the-wall models ship either as a cash dispenser with a check-and-cash depository or as a four-plus-one cash recycler, and that the non-recycling versions can be upgraded to recycling.
