What it is and where it fits.
The MX4000W was Hyosung’s answer for places with almost no floor space. Nautilus Hyosung called it “proof positive that innovation comes in small packages”: a compact day-safe ATM for indoor use that mounts to a wall with the steel brackets included, or sits on a table or countertop.
Its brochure pitched it for smaller stores, coffee shops, bars and other places where space is at a premium. It is only 8.7 inches deep and weighs 110 lbs, with an 8-inch color screen, eight function keys and a 500-note removable cassette with a lit cash tray.
Hyosung still listed the 4000W on its retail page in 2021, but it is no longer part of the current lineup, which has no wall-mount model.

Before you choose it
- A 500-note cassette runs out sooner than a floor-standing ATM, so busy sites need frequent loading.
- It is a day-safe design for indoor use, not a UL-rated safe like freestanding models.
- Mounting height and reach matter for accessibility, so place it carefully.
- Hyosung’s current lineup has no wall-mount model, so replacement usually means a compact freestanding ATM.

How is the MX4000W mounted?
Hyosung supplied sturdy steel brackets for wall mounting with every unit, and it could also sit on a table or countertop.
What replaces a wall-mount ATM like the 4000W?
Hyosung’s current lineup has no wall-mount model, so the usual replacement is a compact freestanding ATM such as the Halo II. Or apply for free placement and we’ll recommend what fits your space.
