What it is and where it fits.
The 4L stands apart from the rest of Hyosung’s retail ATMs. Instead of only dispensing cash, it is a cash recycling ATM: notes that go in can be checked, stored and paid back out. Hyosung calls it “a game changer for the retail ATM market” and pitches it for cash-in transactions and in-store cash management.
It holds up to three large recycling cassettes of 3,000 notes each, plus a 2,600-note deposit cassette, and can bundle up to 100 notes per withdrawal or deposit. Hyosung lists smart-safe functionality, so store cash can be secured in the machine, and compatibility with its BlueVerse software and Hyosung Pay API. It runs Windows 11 on a 15-inch touchscreen, with a 21.5-inch option.
For most stores, a cash-dispensing ATM is all they need. The 4L makes sense when you want cash-in services or to cut down on the cash your staff count and carry.
