What it is and where it fits.
The Onyx-W 2K is the higher-capacity version of Genmega’s wall-or-counter ATM. Its dispenser takes a 2,000-note removable cassette (the WCDU 2K) instead of the standard Onyx-W’s 1,000 notes, so it can go longer between cash loads without taking up any floor.
To fit the larger cassette, the cabinet grows to about 22.4 inches tall, compared with 19.7 inches, while keeping the 26.8-inch width and 10.9-inch depth; the weight rises to about 155 lb. The 10.1-inch screen, lighted function keys, 2-inch printer, EMV reader and encrypting PIN pad are the same as on the Onyx-W.

- Bars & nightclubs
Small bars rarely have floor to spare, and a 2,000-note cassette gives more room for a busy weekend than the 1,000-note version.
- Liquor stores
A wall install behind or beside the counter keeps aisles clear, with a larger cassette for steady daily use.
- Collectibles, trading card & comic shops
Shops that host release days or tournaments can see cash demand spike; the bigger cassette helps without adding a floor unit.
Before you choose it
- At about 155 lb it is roughly 29 lb heavier than the standard Onyx-W, so the wall or counter and the anchoring must be up to it.
- It is still a single-cassette machine; a multi-cassette floor model holds more.
- Like the Onyx-W, its published specs list an internal vault with lock options rather than a UL 291 vault, so placement matters.
- Fewer dealers list the 2K version separately, so lead times can vary; ask us for current timing.
