What it is and where it fits.
The Onyx is Genmega’s design-forward freestanding ATM: a dark cabinet with a security-reflective front, touch keypad and a 10.2-inch widescreen (1280 × 800) as standard, with a 12-inch touchscreen option. Genmega pitches it for hotels, clubs and gas stations, places where the machine should look good while still reading clearly as an ATM.
Under the styling, much of the spec sheet matches the G2500: the same 2-inch printer with a 3-inch graphics option, the same UL 291 business-hours vault and the same dispenser range, from a 1,000-note removable cassette to four 2,000-note cassettes. Genmega says it supports all of its own dispensers and other manufacturers’ as well, and a presenter version is sold as the Onyx-P.

Where it fits best.
- Hotels
A dark, modern cabinet that suits a lobby, and a larger standard screen than the G2500 for guests who use it once and move on.
- Gas stations
Genmega names gas stations as a target; the reflective front and illuminated sign stand out in a busy store.
- Golf courses & country clubs
A clubhouse or pro shop that cares how the room looks gets an ATM that doesn’t feel out of place.
Before you choose it
- It usually costs more than a G2500 with largely the same internals, so the premium mainly buys the look and a bigger standard screen.
- EMV is listed as optional; confirm a chip reader is installed on any unit you consider.
- The 3-inch graphics printer and 12-inch touchscreen are options, not standard.
- At about 198 lb it needs anchoring and a solid floor like any freestanding ATM.

How much does a Genmega Onyx cost?
Public dealer listings in 2026 typically put a new Onyx at roughly $2,550 to $3,100, depending on options and whether a processing agreement is part of the purchase. Ask us for current pricing.
Onyx or G2500: which should I choose?
They share much of the same hardware, including the printer options, vault and dispenser range. The Onyx adds a 10.2-inch standard screen, a reflective front and a more upscale look; the G2500 is usually the lower-cost option. Pick on appearance and budget rather than capability.
What is the Onyx-P?
The Onyx-P is the same design with a motorized presenter module and a high-performance dispenser that can be ordered with one, two or four cassettes.
Can I get an Onyx placed at my business for free?
