What it is and where it fits.
The G1900 is an earlier Genmega freestanding retail ATM that Genmega now lists as discontinued. Many are still in stores and on the used market, which is why owners and buyers look it up for specs, parts and repair-or-replace decisions.
Genmega’s published specs list an 8-inch screen, a 56 mm thermal printer, a dual-head swipe card reader with a DIP/EMV reader as an option, and a vault reinforced along the door edge with a flashing security LED. It supported a wide range of dispensers: an 800-note fixed cassette, 1,000 or 1,700-note removable cassettes, a two-cassette 1,700-note unit, and third-party De La Rue SDD and Puloon LCDM1000 dispensers.

Where you’ll find it
Where it was a good fit.
- Convenience stores
Where many G1900s still run: a slim cabinet beside the counter. If yours is aging, the G2500 fits nearly the same footprint.
- Bars & nightclubs
If one still runs behind your bar, check its card reader and keypad before relying on it for busy nights.
- Laundromats
A simple, long-lived machine for steady low-to-moderate use, as long as it meets current card and security requirements.
Before you choose it
- Genmega no longer makes it, so warranty terms depend on the seller.
- The standard reader was swipe-only; confirm an EMV chip reader is installed before relying on the machine.
- Keypads and software must meet current security requirements, and older units may need upgrades before a processor will accept them.
- Genmega’s parts catalog still has a G1900 section, but availability of individual parts can change over time.

About the Genmega G1900.
Is the Genmega G1900 still supported?
Genmega lists the G1900 as discontinued, but its online parts catalog still includes a G1900 section, and some parts, such as the EMV reader cable, are listed as shared with current models like the G2500 and Onyx. BayTM repairs supported Hyosung and Genmega machines on site; tell us the model and the problem through ATM repair and maintenance and we’ll let you know what’s involved.
Should I repair or replace my G1900?
It depends on the card reader, keypad and software version in your unit: some can be brought up to current requirements, others cost more to fix than to replace. If you replace it, Genmega’s G2500 is almost the same size (56.3 × 15.8 × 22.6 inches versus 56.36 × 15.75 × 22.29), so it usually fits the same spot.
How much is a used G1900 worth?
